Meal and a (Recipe) Makeover

About the Event
Bring two of your favorite recipes that need a makeover. We will do the jig with ingredients and find a way to improve the health factor of your recipe. At the end of the evening, participants will all swap updated recipes.
Additionally, I will showcase two of my favorite recipes that I have made over, pizza and ice cream. Menu as follows:
First: Superfood Arugula Salad w/ Blueberries, Walnuts and Red Onion
Main: Pear and Manchego Pizza, OR Vegan Pesto Pizza
Dessert: Olive Oil Ice Cream (Dairy-free)
The punchline is that I know transitioning to clean-eating is expensive and time-consuming when you are testing new recipes and trying new ingredients. Fortunately, I have been testing and trying for the last four years, and have already invested the money and time so you don't have to!
Bring your recipes, your nutrition questions (and maybe even a friend), and let's get to work....after enjoying a delicious pizza meal, of course!
Participants will leave with a collection of new recipes, answers to healthy food questions, and a list of cooking ingredient substitutions/swaps.
