Basic Green Smoothie

  • 2 - 3 handfuls leafy greens, and/or herbs like mint, cilantro, dandelion, etc

  • 1/2 - 1 cup water

  • Banana

  • Frozen berries, or frozen fruit of choice (pineapple tastes great, as well)

  • 1/4 - 1/2 Avocado

  • Mix-ins: Cinnamon powder, vanilla extract, ginger powder, cocoa powder, lemon/lime juice, honey, dates, molasses, etc.

  • Clean protein powder (collagen peptides, pea protein, hemp protein, bone broth protein)


  • Add greens and water to blender, and blend until totally pureed.

  • Add banana, avocado and/or berries, and blend until smooth.

  • Finally, add any protein powder and mix-ins you desire, and blend.

  • Enjoy!

If too thick, add more liquid as you see fit. You can also use unsweetened coconut water or nutmilk of choice.
